Personal Experience
Deborah joined Ardent law in 2012 bringing with her a wealth of experience having begun her career in the insurance industry. For the last 15 years Deborah has specialised in Claimant personal injury claims, including whiplash, fractures, spinal injuries and amputations and she is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Deborah advises on Road Traffic Accidents acting for drivers, passengers, motor cyclists, cyclists and pedestrians, she is also able to offer advice on RTA insurance law related matters and is experienced in pursuing claims against uninsured and untraced drivers via the Motor Insurers Bureau.
In addition Deborah also advises on Public Liability Claims, Occupiers Liability Claims including Slips and trips, Product Liability Claims and Employers Liability with a particular interest in accidents occurring in the construction industry.
With Deborah having extensive knowledge in dealing with both Defendant and Claimant related matters this is a real asset when negotiating fair settlements for clients. Client Care is paramount and part of Ardent Laws ethos, Deborah knows that the needs of clients will always be put first.
Deborah acted for the Claimant who sustained serious orthopaedic injury in a motorcycle accident, the recent reported case Irani v Duchon [2019] EWCA Civ 1846 a case arising from an RTA where causation and quantification were in issue for an Indian national who faced deportation as a consequence of the negligence.
The Claimant was award in excess of £400k.

Deborah represented a passenger in a RTA whereby the motor vehicle overturned and the Claimant sustained serious orthopaedic injuries, including a pelvic fracture.
The case settled out of Court for £375,000.00.
